The Asian Fisheries Society (AFS) congratulates Prof. Alice Joan G. Ferrer, PhD and Prof. Wilfredo Campos, Dr.rer.nat for having received the One UP Professorial Chair Awards (2022-2024) from the University of the Philippines System for having demonstrated outstanding performance in research and public service.
Prof. Alice Joan G. Ferrer, PhD is the Immediate Past President of the AFS (2022-2025). She served as AFS Councilor from 2013-2015, AFS Vice- President from 2015-2019, and AFS President from 2019 -2022.
Prof. Wilfredo Campos is currently the AFS Vice President (2022-2025). He was AFS Councilor from 2019-2022.
Prof. Ferrer and Prof. Campos are from the College of Arts and Sciences of the University of the Philippines Visayas.
